This forest is enchanted
The air is scented with earth and rain.
Water gently cascades across the hollow
chiming against smooth rocks and playfully grasping
at the branches of the tall ancient oak,
looking over the stream admiring its reflection,
its wise all knowing complexion.
Moss crawls across sleepy rocks and trees
to bask in the cool soft spray.
Warm, ethereal beams of light peek through the
clouds of leaves arching above,
illuminating the viel of mist
shrouding the dainty orbs of life
spiraling down to the inviting surface,
riding up on the breeze just in time
