The Timeless Sea
You wake without surfacing, without rising. You don't need air, but you don't need to. Your eyes open to water- clear, endless and softly lit from no discernable source. The ship is with you, whole and unbroken. The mast stands, sails hang loose but intact; no splintering or wreckage. It drifts through the water as though nothing ever happened.
