Parshendi
A deep drone, punctuated by drum patterns, reaches your ears from across the Shattered Plains. You steal away from the Alethi warcamp at night, to listen to these strange rhythms, and find yourself wondering about the peculiar race of the Parshendi, who are so alien to you. You went to war to take your revenge upon these enemies of Alethkar, but who exactly are they? What is this music they create?
You've heard a rumor, that the Parshendi can hear the "rhythms" of Roshar, but your ardent says it's nonsense.
He can't tell the difference between the Rhythm of Resolve from the Rhythm of Confidence, but you can.
