Night in Slytherin Commons
Just a night like any other. The soft sounds of the Black Lake playing outside the windows as the giant squid swims by. Those who have had an exhausting day already sound asleep in their beds, shuffling under their sheets as they dream of the desires that reside deepest in their hearts. Every now and then the drip drop of a leaky ceiling or windows, no doubt from the pressure of the lake. You can hear the sounds of book pages turning and light scribbling along with the occasional cough or sniffle from those of us who are still up, tending to our studies. Yes, a night just like any other, here in the Slytherin common room.
