In The Crow's Nest
You are a knight on a quest, on a ship, and it is your turn on lookout duty. You sip some morning ale from your flask as you watch the sun rise over the water and watch in amusement as the seagulls fly and scream overhead. You hear the rush of the waves and the gentle blow of the wind, pushing the billowing sails. You hear the waves slap against the ship's wooden hull. Down below, the king paces the deck, deep in thought before the day officially begins. In the corner, a knight sharpens and polishes his sword, which reminds you to do the same. You turn your attention back to the horizon and see seventy-four other ships that have joined you, all containing eighty knights and men-at-arms. You feel as though you are a Greek in Menelaus or Agamemnon's fleet.
