Falrun Tower
The great fortress of Grailhold has eight towers, one for each of the tribe-nations the Mirelands. Night has fallen. In the stone halls of Falrun tower, the air smells of cedar resin, woodsmoke, and honeybeer. Incense curls in the air before a massive statue of the wolf god Falrun himself, carved from the trunk of an ancient redwood tree.
The thrum of the crowd, deep in their cups, fills you with comfort as you settle in close to the fire to nurse your horn of mead. Cool lake air blows in from the narrow, open windows, and the sound of thunder and rain washes over you like a primal lullaby.
