Black Waters of the Darkheart
You have chosen to follow the rain from the distant dark hallway, stepping into a inken puddle that swallows you deep, deep down into the depths of a frigid ocean. A void of water surrounds you in every direction, the kind to sap souls from the living, seeping into your bones, your lungs, choking you fierce - until a hand grasps your chin. The panic subsides, the cold retracts, and you can breathe freely. The formless fingers release you and under your feet you see wisps of light, dancing to-and-fro, illuminating a black, winding staircase that goes down, down, ever-deep.
